In August of 2006 my fiance was laid off and the same week we gave birth to our second child. We stuggled for the first year and I was a little behind. I contacted Wilshire in September of 2007 to set-up an agreement to get "caught up". I left several messages from Sept - Dec and no-one would return my calls. Finally in December I did get a call from the Loss Mitigation Department.

I agreed to pay an additional $500 a month for 12 months to catch up beginning in February. I was told I would be contacted within 3 days with an answer as to whether or not my agreement was approved. 3 days went by, no call. I called and left a messages for the rep assigned to my loan. Still, after 2 weeks no call.

Finally, I was able to reach him via phone to confirm that yes, it was approved and the paperwork was on it's way. First week in January, no paperwork, I called everyday and left messages for the rep assigned to my loan. Second week, no return calls, again left 3 messages for him to return my call. Third week, no return. Again I called, only this time I was able to get another rep on the line who confirmed that I was approved and the paperwork was on it's way. First week in February 2008.....still no paperwork. I again left several messages with no return call. I called again and was again told the paperwork was on it's way it takes time. I explained I had been waiting since December and nothing was sent.

Last Friday, Feb 22nd I get home to find a Sheriff's Sale posted to my door for March 11th. I again called the Wilshire and when I was finally able to get a HUMAN BEING on the line I was told I needed to contact the attorney who's information is on the form. I looked over the document that was posted to my door - there was no attorney information so I again called Wilshire only to be transferred to the rep who HASN'T RETURNED MY CALLS FOR 6 MONTHS! I hung up and called back until a real person was on the line.

I explained that I was in need of the attorney's information and that I DID NOT WANT TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE REP ASSIGNED TO MY LOAN BECAUSE HE DOES NOT RETURN CALLS. I asked for a manager and was declined. I was given an attorney's office in Virginia. I called the attorney's office only to be told that Wilshire never forwarded the paperwork to them. I called Wilshire yet again and was told that the rep would have to call the attorney's office and would call me back shortly.

Today is Monday, Feb 25th and I still have not heard from that Rep. I called again today only to be transfered to the rep and HIS VOICEMAIL IS FULL.....and even if it wasn't he doesn't return calls anyway.

I called back and told the rep who answered that I just needed her to look at the notes and let me know if he actually called the attorney's office or not and she REFUSED TO LOOK UP THE INFORMATION, told me SHE WAS TOO BUSY and I just needed to wait for Tim.......WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS????

I am 15 days away from losing the home I have lived in for 10 years.....I purchased this house when I was 18 years old and have worked very hard to keep .....now I am at the mercy of Wilshire Credit Corporation...
