Xium Xium ripoff buyer beware Amarillo Texas
BEWARE to all who purchase a dish type antenna from Xium and have trouble receiving TV reception.
I, like many others have called, emailed and sent letters to Xium and have not received any type of return correspondence.
Each time I tried to contact Xium I sent them my phone number, email address and mailing address.
I Purchased the dish type antenna on July 9,2006 and installed it soon as I received the antenna. I tried all day to get more than one station.
I live less than 20 miles from severial TV stations and should receive deceint reception.
I am a retired electrical contractior with extensive knollage of communications.
I tried everything I could think of to receive TV reception.
I get one station very well, three stations I can hear but receive no picture, two others sort of come in but are not clear with very scratchey sound and one that comes in at times, sort of.
The reception is worse than the old rabbit ears used when I was a kid.
Xium took my money plus the extra 20 dollars for the extended warantee ($164.94)
I read on the internet the Local Better Business Buerau receives about thirty complaints a month each month regarding Xium. I also see that others trying to contact Xium have the same no responce complaint.
As soon as I find the local BBB for Amarillo Texas I'm going to send them a letter. I'm also gong to file with the FCC for internet fraud.

This is a rather ASININE Response to my complaint. It makes me wonder if this is the company's bottom line, "Buyers Beware".

Now, if you had done all of this research BEFORE you put down your hard-earned money, you wouldn't be in the position you are. Lesson learned, hopefully.
