On 5/3/06 I paid $149.00 ($161.00 with tax) for the Special Love wedding package on the Las Vegas Garden of Love's website. My package included a DVD of the wedding ceremony and 24 Photos on a CD.When I got home, I discovered the wedding pictures on the CD wasn't us! The Garden of Love gave me another couple's wedding pictures instead of my own. I called there several times from 5/13/06-6/6/06 trying to get my pictures and they keep promising that someone will look for my pictures and get back to me (run around). The owner, Cheryl Luell also called me once promising the same thing, but no one ever calls back. I have spoken to some very rude and unprofessional people there who seem to miss the point about their accountability for providing what I paid them for!

Some of the people there have been very rude, telling me things like "shut up", hanging up on me, etc. My last contact with them was today (6/6/06 when I called the photographer who was supposedly looking for my pictures. He had the Manager (Cheryl Luell) call me back and she stated" I can't even talk to you since you reported "false" information to the Better Business Bureau that we refused to talk to you". The only time they "talked" to me is when I called them. They never initiated contact on their own to call me and let me know what their efforts were, if any in trying to locate my wedding pictures. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau, Las Vegas Attorney General's Office, the Bureau of Consumer Affairs for Las Vegas, my credit card company (I used my Mastercard to make the purchase) and Rip-off Report because I was tired of getting the run around from these people and fed up with their rude, unprofessional treatment when I call. I am getting more upset with each day that passes. This place is very unprofessional and not once did they offer a refund for the services they promised but didn't deliver. I have given them almost a whole month to find my pictures and I am the only one calling them on a regular basis they never made the effort to call me. They figured to give me the run around until I got tired and just gave up. People like them should not be allowed to conduct business and they should be held accountable by someone for their actions. The only thing I attempted to do is get my wedding pictures back, they can never be replaced and I don't know how they could be so careless and nonchalant about something so important. At first, I didn't even care about the money, I would have settled for my pictures. They even had the nerve to demand tips for the shoddy ervices they provided, which I did give them, but I still got ripped off. I decided to file complaints with everyone after I saw a posting on a web site from a woman who got married there in March, they lost her pictures too (same scenario) she stated the owner (Cheryl Luell) told her I am a million dollar company you are an individual, who do you think they will believe? She posted her complaint on 5/4/06 which tells me they gave her the run around since March and never provided her pictures. At this point, I have nothing to lose. No wedding pictures (they probably don't have them anyway) and no money (I guess they figure too bad, so sad) who cares? They already have my money in their pockets.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Tue, June 06, 2006

Brenda, I worked within the wedding business in Las Vegas for a few years and still have good friends operating a chapel there just a few blocks from where you went. I can tell you that they do have your pictures on the computer still, as they hope to sell reprints... HOWEVER, here is where the problem is..They do so many weddings like an assembly line, they forget what you look like! No kidding. They mislabeled the file so they have no recourse. However, here is what I suggest you do from my experience with these people. Send a POLITE letter again stating the date of your marriage, and enclose a picture of yourself. Apologize for getting hot-headed..blah..blah..blahh. Now they go to all files created on that date and look for your face in a picture. This will work. And after all, your only goal is to get your wedding pictures, right? Swallow the pride, and get your pictures. Tell them you will retract all complaints if they help you out, and thank them in advance. You will get your pictures. You can even go one step further and offer to pay any additional expenses. I do see your point, and you are right, but these are high volume operations and mistakes do happen. It was just your turn! Good luck!
