JANE ROONEY, AB FAB MANAGEMENT, AB FAB FAMILY IS A BIG SCAM! I REPEAT SCAM ALERT JANE ROONEY AND AB FAB MANAGEMENT IS A WORTHLESS FLORIDA SCAM AGENCY! I recently met with Jane in Orlando.  Within 10 mins of the conversation she started lying about her background, models she's placed with big agencies and how many clients she has. Then she started feeding me a bucket load of crap about how bad my pictures are and that I needed to do a photo shoot with her photographer for better pictures. She also tried to get me to pay to be on her cheap looking website.

MODELS DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING TO AB FAB'S WEEKLY SCAM OPEN CALLS! Just as all the other negative scam reports and shady things models are saying about JANE ROONEY AND AB FAB MANAGEMENT on facebook. JANE ROONEY IS A LIAR, A SCAMMER AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED BECAUSE SHE TRIED TO SCAM ME! I almost forgot, she got rude and nervous when I asked about some of the things I've heard from models about her and her agency. She didn't even offer any real answer other than to say that its not true.  Well news to you JANE ROONEY, I believe what's been said about you and your WEAK SCAM AGENCY that's why you'll never get the chance to SCAM me! I'm not signing your bogus contract so stop emailing me worthless casting calls!!!!!

Report The Agency to the DBPR

#2Consumer Suggestion

Tue, March 12, 2013

Pursuant to Florida Statute 468.410, an agent may not impose a registration fee to join their agency, such as photography services and workshops. If an agent refuses to accept you into their agency UNLESS you hire THEIR photographer, then you should report them to the DBPR. The Department of Business & Professional Regulation oversees talent agencies and can assist any artist who wants to file a formal complaint (model, actor, makeup artist, photographer, wardrobe stylist, hair stylist, and any other person who is being represented by an agency). http://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/

However, there is a difference between an agency demanding that you obtain new pictures with their photographer, and an agency that wants you to obtain new pictures from anyone you choose, whether it be a paid or free photography service. An agency cannot represent you to the best of their ability, or send you to castings, if you do not have exceptional photos that allow you to stand apart from every other model out there.

Delayed payment by an agency has become the norm -- agents think they can use talent funds at their whim. If you perform a search for the top agencies in NYC, you will encounter countless lawsuits brought by models whose agents are not paying them. These agencies are not scams either; they simply think they can do whatever they want.
