Allied Interstate LLC Received several phone calls from a female who did not tell me her name , she did not sound professional and she breathed heavily in the phone. She stated that she was attempting to collect a debt of $51.26 from Centurylink. I have not had an account with Centurylink in over a year and a half Nationwide
For 2 days I received phone calls from 8002588074, no one would respond the first time they called. The next day they called again - I answered and the girl on the phone sounded like she had just got done running up the stairs, very heavy breathing.
She did not sound professional or from a reputable company. I asked what this was in refernce to when she asked if it was April she was speaking to, I asked her again what company she worked for. She stated Allie Interstate LLC but would not tell me what the company was or why she was asking for my information. I told her that until she gives me the "type" of company it was she was not getting the infoarmtion she is requesting. She stated that she could get in trouble for telling me
I hung up, thought about it for a min, called back and I said it was whom they were asking for. She stated she worked for a collection agency and she was tryng to colelct a debt of $51.26 from Century Link. I have not had an account with CL for over a 1 1/2 yrs.
I hung up on her, I contacted Century Link and spoke to a woman from their Collections section and wouldn't you know that they had nothing on me. Nothing had gone to collections, when the woman asked what company had called me I stated Allied Interstate LLC and she verified that they have never sent anything from my account to Allied Interstate LLC.
