My brother sent me 200.00 to my prepaid American Express Serve card, I accepted the money and the money was available in my Serve prepaid account, but when I tried to use the card at the ATM it denied my transactions, I called American Express Serve customer service and was told I needed to submit a copy of my DL and bank statement in order for them to unblock my account. I submitted this info with no change on the outcome! They have my money and won't allow me to take it off my card, or transfer it to my bank account or even send me a check. It's a scam and all I want is my money so I can cut up this card and leave them alone for good! Please help me.

Asking for a copy of your driver's license when they can't even see you doesn't make any sense. You could call them back & go to their website at the same time so you can fact check them on the spot. Don't get off the phone until you get a definitive answer; request a supervisor if necessary, write down employee names you speak with.
If you haven't already, check with your brother to see if anything unusual happened on his end of the transaction.
I've never used a Serve card & don't know anyone else who has, but their request just makes no sense to me.
