American Home Shield AHS DOES NOT COVER ANYTHING - SO DON'T GET IT! YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!! Memphis Tennessee
Hi there.
I'm just making an anonymous tip for all you people who think that AHS is worth the money.
My AC unit went out last year and it was $10,000.
I thought - d**n - my AHS just expired so they didn't cover it.
I quickly renewed.
No worries. $600 a year.. Covers the pool.. AC.. Heater.. and all the appliances on the inside..
Well - my AC was not working upstairs.. The Actuator Motor went out..
First - they charged $60 to come check it out. That's typical service call for anyone with or without a warranty. So don't think you're saving money there.
Second - they quickly called and said - sorry it's a valve on your AC - this is NOT covered on your AHS warranty. It will be $600 to replace.
I said - sorry - see you in court!
Now - I'm in small claims with them! THEY WILL FIX MY AC!
The jist of the story is this:
You can replace most parts for less than $600 here and there. Most replacement stuff costs $200 to $300 dollars.
When they charge $60 for each thing that goes out - and then they won't cover anything.. THIS IS A SCAM! They have flash print quality stuff saying that what happens when these things go out..
You'll end up paying out the butt.
Well now that it did go out. THEY WONT COVER IT!
The credit card companies know this - they know they are scam - they accept all chargebacks immediately! AHS will lose every chargeback no matter what..
The materials CLEARLY state they cover your AC is it goes out.
