American Home Shield AHS Rip-Off, Scam, deception, bait & switch Memphis, Tennessee
I was called a few weeks ago to be informed that my CC was expired and needed to be updated. I did this and they offered me a "special" preventative maintanance deal for my air conditioner and heating system. I was told for 95.00 a technician would come and inspect and make repairs without having to make the otherwise normal deductable of 60.00. The technician did come but all they did for an hour is crawl around my attack, take pictures and tell me all they could do to make it better. They did not fix anything, they submitted it to AHS for approval and it was all denied! Therefore I was out 95.00 for nothing! I could have hired a local comapny myself for 125.00 and they would have fixed everything on the same visit!
AHS has been nothing but a scam and rip off and to top it all off the customer service rep "Wanda" was beligerant and rude and less than helpful!
I cancelled my contract and plan to tell all that I know about them and there deceitful practices!
