Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Big Bear Tanning owes me for a years membership.

He high pressured sold me the year memebership and then only had two beds that worked. I was suppose to get moisturizing lotion with my memebership and never received it. I was told the last time I tanned that they were modernizing with new beds and alot of remodeling going on. Then they were gone. Im owed $240.00.

Did you know they, (Bill & Janelle Groh) have been doing this for years and Bill Groh was forbidden by the State of Arizona to be in the membership/service business back in the 1980's after ripping off (estimated) over 30,000 thousand Arizonans?

Then, the Groh's went to Texas ripping off (estimated) over 60,000 Texans, was criminally charged by the State of Texas, and was required to pay fines and restitution

Then, the Grohs came back to Arizona in the 90's opening and closing 5 tanning stores to date ripping off (an estimated), 40 to 70,000 Arizonans.

Every time the Groh's made one last ditch effort to scam a large amount of cash by mass advertising to existing customers & the general public, a last minute (too good to be true) sale to get more $ out of the public before closing the Tanning Salon Stores; while also draining the business's cash flow and not paying any of the bills including the rent, before closing the doors.

The Arizona Attorney Generals office has refused to do anything,
even though Bill Groh has violated this order..

We are now in the process of bringing this to the attention of the Attorney Generals office again and we need your statements to get you your money back and/or to get Mr. Bill Groh charged by the authorities for fraud and theft.

Please go to www.ripoffreport.com and file a Report.

NOTE: DID YOU KNOW, .. This Fountain Hills location has been closed down before by the Groh Family, formally known as Mega Tan, leasing the store in another name.

Then, two months ago, new lease documents show Mr. Groh was pulling yet another scam to creditors and customers. They just signed a new lease at this same location by slightly changing the name of this store from Big Bear Tan to Big Bare Tan.

This has also been reported on most TV news stations in the Phoenix area in August of 2000.

Please e-Mail us if you have any further information or if you have been victimized.
