Boyajian Law Offices continue to harass innocent people, Ripoff! Rutherford New Jersey
I have had similar experiences with Boyajian Law Offices. They are supposedly trying to collect on a $700+ phone bill for a number near Bowling Green, KY from 1994. I have never lived in Bowling Green, KY! In 1994 I was in graduate school in Virginia. The first time I ever lived in Kentucky was in August 2004.
They have continually called and harassed me. I am sick and tired of it. I sent them a written response telling them they could check with my college to get the proof they needed.
If I get contacted again I would like to pursue action, but am not sure where to turn. I would love to hear any advice anyone has.

Send them a letter stating that you do not owe this alleged "debt", and ask them for verification (signed contracts or something from the original creditor with your signature)...emphasize that "we say so" does not constitute legal validation. Secondly, tell them that you do NOT deal with collection agencies or junk debt buyers, and that after they validate the "debt", you will deal directly with the original creditor (they won't be able to validate it..not to mention that it is way beyond the statute of limitations). Make it clear that any attempts to "re-age" or report this on your credit as other as disputed will be met with every legal option available to you. Also tell them that they are not to contact you telephonically (at home, work or through third parties), by fax, smoke signals, personal contact or carrier pigeon, and failure to comply will result in legal action. Make it clear that you are aware of your rights under the FDCPA and will not hesitate to do whatever necessary. Don't feed the bottomfeeders. Once they realize that you know they are powerless, they will slither back under their rock and look for a new mark.
