Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I received a letter today from this company. This letter is very rude stating that I have ignored other attempts at collecting a cell phone debt. This debt was supposidly bought by another company. They are threatning to "do all that is allowable under your state's laws to protect our clients interests" and i should "be guided accordingly".

Because I couldn't get them on the phone to chew out I looked on the internet and found interesting stuff. Should I contact them or should I contact someone else? If anyone else out there has had this happen by this company please advise me what to do. I did not receive my first cell phone until two years ago and it was not with this company they are 'COLLECTING' for. Not sure how to handle this.

BOYAJIAN IS ALSO KNOWN AS JBC LEGAL.....

JBC got into major trouble with the FTC and several state Attorney Generals and is barred from doing business in several states, including Minnesota, Connecticutt and Texas. I guess that Jack Hagop Boyajian is trying to skirt the order by using the name Boyajian Law Offices. His "firm" also "specializes" in real estate condo conversions, as well as "entertainment law." Don't pay the bottomfeeders a penny. Make them validate the "debt", as well as sending them a cease and desist letter. Should they threaten you with legal action, tell them "cool..see ya in court." It won't happen. They will slither away and look for a new mark.

Don't Pay ..the statute of limitations is up!

According to the Alabama Attorney General Office, if the phone bill they are trying to collect is over 2 years old, the statute of limitations is up. Send them a certified letter. You can get a sample from the Fair Credit Act website.

How to get rid of Boyajian

#7Consumer Suggestion

I too received a letter from them stating that I owed from a 6 year old electrical bill. I called the company they said I owed the money to directly and they had no records of me (i had also never heard of them). Anyway to resolve this you need to send them a certified letter stating why you do not think you owe this and demand that they send you a copy of the bill not from boyajian but from the original creditor. That is what I did and less than a month later all references to the bill on my credit report were gone and I have never heard from them again.

Boyajian After Me Too

I just got the same letter from Boyajian. I have asked for documentation on this debt, and was told if they had to pull the paperwork that they will just take me to court because it is a waste of their time and money. More than likely, these people are rip-offs.
