So let me get this straight. You went to Europe and only brought 1 card with you?? You also have higher credit limits on other cards?? As a bank that monitors fraud activity, I'm sure it would seem odd that you were using your card in your local area when all of the sudden, the card is being used outside the country. As a previous fraud detection specialist, I saw HUGE transactions with companies that were outside the country that ARE fraud. Anytime this is suspected, then you would usually be declined due to fraud activity. What bank doesn't do something like this (Unless outside the country purchases are a normal trend). What does it hurt to take 5 minutes out of your day (BEFORE LEAVING THE COUNTRY), to call all your credit card companies to tell them you are using the card outside the country?? 2nd is that you have a set credit limit, we cannot change what your credit limit due to the fact your current or living situation changed. No bank would. 3rd... Ripoff?? Where is the ripoff you are reporting in your complaint?? Is it because you were cut-off? Or is it that the company was protecting your assets?
