I called of course because I believed it to be Capital One and thought it reputible. He asked me to get a preloaded visa/mastercard from Walmart for 90 dollars , I did that . Then he called back and said i needed insurance because my credit score was below 725, so then I went and got another for 120.00. Then my gut kicked in, he said money would be in my account in 45 mins. Ha!! Next morning no money in acount. So I called him and he actually was still at the number, he then explained I needed to pay taxes on this loan up front. I said no and please cancel this loan, he agreed and said her would issue me a check in mail for the 210.00 I already gave him!!! Well I know that is not coming. I was so vulnerable that I was not thinking clearly. I looked closer at laon agreement from email he sent and realized it was just a fake document, just like him!! Phone calls were from Keyport NJ ? Dont know if that is really where the came from but I got so scammed and feel very stupid and ashamed. Please don't ever fall for this.

I recieved email from Capital One Personal Loans, the docment attached said I was approved for a 9000.00 loan at a 5.2% rate to payback in 36 months at 289.00 per month. It looked like the real deal so I called and spoke with a Patrick Maddas loan officer. He told me to get a prepaid mastercard/visa for 90.00 dollars to receive the money in my account with in 45 minutes, I did....then he called to tell me because my credit score was below 725 I needed insurance so back i went to her another prepaid card for 120.00. Patrick Maddas then said check your account. Well next morning (which is today) no money. I called the number and surprisingly he answered, he said he was waiting to hear from the State for tax purposes. Well 20 mins later he called and said he needed more money for taxes on loan, I just laughed at this point because I finally realized I was being so scammed.l I am out 210.00 and he claims he will send it back to me in a cashiers check! Ha lets see if I receive that soon....NOT!! I was very vulnerable but my gut kicked in last night and I felt so foolish. Wow!! I need to call Capital One and see if they even have anything like this. Beware of the on line personal loan lures... I sure fell for it.
