Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I used to work at CTU and they are horrible scammers. They really shouldnt be accredited. Infact, when the National Accreditting body for the N/W association decided to stop by, apparently they had a heads up. They hired a fake Dean who nobody had ever seen or heard of before to come in a month before to pretend it was legit. He shows up one day in a beat up, 20 year old van pretending to be our Dean. Like he had always been there, then our Directors walked around to each cube and read all the quotes on our cubicles to take down all the papers encouraging us to enroll any and every student humanly possible. Not to mention everytime we logged on to the computer we had to accept the SEC investigation guidelines that was underway for years (3rd red flag). This is a BILLION dollar company, and I was being sexually harrassed. Once I told my superiors and showed proof i was promptly fired for being 1 minute late. Best thing that could have ever happened, I couldn't live with myself knowing how bad all the people I enrolled were being ripped off. I was there for 5 years and nobody I enrolled ever graduated (more than 300, 4th red flag). Stay away from a CEC career or degree if you want to have a clear conscience.

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

First of all the place is "GHETTO". The floors were filthy, bathrooms smelled, people smelled and people were  not professional. As student advisors we were told "sign 'em up, they need our help, we are changing their lives". What a crock of $hit! Management and communication sucked as my DOA(Director of Admissions) seemed puzzled everyday and did not seem to communicate too well. They were new but they have been with company for at least a decade and they even went to school there. It was mind numbing.........you would get a call transferred and the person was not even looking for school, they were just applying for a job online and the website manipulated them to have AIU to give them a call(We were told in a meeting that the website it set up this way and people don't see the "opt out" button, so they will get called or solicited). 99% of calls were like this and seemed dumb as hell but they(AIU) wanted you to "sway" them into signing up(...oh you have a computer and internet...lets get you started TODAY.....). It's like hey I was looking for a coffee maker but hey we can help you buy this washer too 'cause it will change your life.....WTF! Who did they pay off to get accredited. I narrowed it down that people who don't have a soul can work there. If you have one it will slowly die the longer you stay there. #keepitreal
