i was ripped off by cohen and slamowitz they said i had taken out a credit card in 1998 which i didnt they refused to give copies of papers they submitted to court now they are garishering my pay this is not right they say i owe 4,000.00 its not right i went to get police report they told me to get credit reports this is not right so unfair how can i stop this if any one can help me please let me know cohen and slamowitz are bound by law i am enttiled to those papers they submitted to the courts whoever took out this mastercard is a fraud and they need to go after them

If they are garnishing your pay, they got a judgment at one point.

Filing a fraud/identity theft claim won't solve anything by itself. As for failing to give you copies: they don't have to. All copies are available from the courthouse where the judgment was filed. I would go to the courthouse and look at the whole case file to see what is going on and then see a local attorney. The SOL doesn't apply if they already got a judgment, and you won't know about when they got the judgment until you see the case file.

Send them a letter via certified mail with return receipt requested to cease communications DO NOT talk to them on the phone for any reason This is just a bottom feeder collection agency go to www.budhibbs.com and get more info on these leeches Been there done that - sued one of these losers in court and won

They can not garnish your wages. Only a court can do that. The statute of limitations has run out on this debt. File a complaint with the Feds and refuse to speak to them again.
