April 26,2002- paid $89.00 for residential phone service

April 30,2002- called 1-877-853-7800 for account status and hook-up date: the automated service said that service would be hooked up on May 1st

May 1,2002- service was not connected, called 1-800-936-5223.Customer Service Rep stated that service would be connected bewteen 5/1 - 5/8.

May 7,2002- received 1st month's bill for $62.00.

May 9,2002- service was not connected, called 1-800-936-5223. Customer Service said that service was connected on May 1st, since there was no dial tone, the repair department would have to test the line. Scheduled repair service for 5/10, rep informed me to have the phone box accessible for testing.

May 10,2002- I had Trevor D. Peten, 31, at the apartment all day. The Service Technician never showed up.

May 13,2002- Called 1-800-936-5223 to report that I still had no phone service. Rep told me that service technician was unable to test the lines because no one was in to let him in. She then told me that I had to schedule another appointment for repair. Scheduled the repair for 5/14.

May 14,2002- I stayed home all day, the repair technician never showed. Called 1-800-936-5223, to report that the service tech never showed up. Rep told me that the repair man did not have a time so he never came. She told me that I would have to schedule another appointment for the repair service to be done. Supervisor told me I was not going to get a refund because the service was connected on May 1st.

Since I had no dial tone she stated that the problem was on my end not their's. Ended the conversation with a scheduled repair service for May 17, an all-day appointment. She said to call back on May 15 after 10 am to get the results from the "line test".

May 15,2002- called 1-800-936-5223, rep did not know why I was calling, so stated all the information I received the night before. Supervisor informed that if the repair man found nobody at home I was going to be charged a fee, then told me that I was unable to receive a refund. She could not give any information on her boss Richie Santos or John McClure, the owner of thr company. She gave me a mailind address for coorespondance.

May 21,2002- Called again for the results and I am now getting the run around. As of today I will be looking for alternative phone service.

May 17,2002-Called 1-800-936-5223, called to make sure that the service repair technician was scheduled to come check the phone lines. The phone rep said the work order was in but nobody had responded at the time of our call. Work order scheduled for 8am-12pm, technician showed up worked on the box outside of the apartment and within minutes I had a dial tone. Called customer service and I am now trying to get credit placed on my account for the 16 days I went without phone service. The rep told that the account has to go through a review board in which after review a decision will be made if I can get a credit or not. I know have to call back on Tuesday May 21,2002 to get the results.
