I think that is a GREAT point you made "Pmjsmom"!! If you went to an "authorized dealer", they are NOT held to the same standards that a Cricket-owned corporate store. That is why I NEVER recommend anyone to buy ANYTHING from an "authorized dealer" because they are hardly EVER truthful.

I went to mycricket.com & went to 'find a store' & it appears that the store that you went to was not a Cricket wireless corporate owned store. It was one of their 'authorized dealers'. I aggree with you, I would be upset too, but perhaps the outcome would have been different if you purchased it directly from Cricket & not one of their 'authorized dealers'. Does that make sense?!?!

Um...just so I get it right, your daughter graduated in May 2007, and had a problem in February 2008, right? Anyways, I'm not aware of Cricket's return policy. That's completely controlled by the store, which the reps tended to do whatever they wanted to do basically. As for the charger....Cricket does NOT manufacture them, so you can't blame THEM for the faulty equipment really, but they ARE to be blamed on their return policy. It could have been that the rep you talked to didn't want to help you. Most reps at the store do NOT want to help customers...and they do NOT need to be reps.... So was it the charger or the phone that stopped working? It's very possible that it was the phone. RARELY does a charger stop working unless it's the battery and/or the phone.
