We reported our phone lost or stolen.  They put our IMEI number on the national block list.  We told them it was returned to us on Mon. April 13.  I was ASSURED by their customer service rep, that the phone would be able to be used no later than Wed. at noon.  Phone was operational on Tues.  Then on Wed., no phone.  Had it restored.  Was told now it would take 3-5 days to get off the National Block List, and all I would have to do is call every day, and they would restore my service.  On Wednesday, customer service employee, Peter, restored my phone and sent me a text saying the problem had been resolved.  Today is Thursday, April 16th, and they shut off my service, and are not willing to turn it back on.

Customer Service Manager said that they aren't allowed to turn it back on, yet the very employees, that she oversees, say that it can be turned back on without a problem.  So either the Customer Service Manager does not want to do her job, or they do not know how to train their employees,  or some combination of the two.  They always want their money, yet they can never help you when you need it.  The customer service manager said they had to do another ticket, which they claim will take another 5 days.  My wife needs her phone for work and her Mom is dying of cancer.  Their manager said, "I don't care."

We had problems with them before, too.  We had a wireless modem that had gotten turned off, yet they wanted money for the two months that we didn't even have service. It seems like they are in the business of ripping peopIe off.

Customer service at their storefronts is terrible that, too.  My wife tried to call the store to report the phone found and the phone rang for 10 min.  No one would pick up the phone.  When she had to walk to their store, their excuse was that they were busy.  When she got there, there wasn't that many people there.  Overall, their customer service sucks.  We're going to go to another provider.  It may cost more, yet the customer service is better at other providers, too.  We're going to be contacting a federal lawyer.

YOU can contact whatever lawyer you wish, it WONT change the FACT that these things take time to resolve. YOU seem to think that YOUR life issues are someone elses business. Crickets job is to provide service AND THAT IS ALL!!! Its NOT thier job to give a d**n about YOU or YOUR personal life issues. THAT is NOT poor customer service, that IS the nature of BUSINESS!!! The gentlman is correct in that HE DOESNT CARE!!!! Its information that has ZERO bearing on the current situation. YOU attempt to use it to garner sympathy for YOUR situation thinking that THEY are going to DO something more or give YOU something for free BECAUSE YOU informed them of YOUR personal issue.

the problem is that this issue is of your own making. Cricket is just trying to help YOU resolve that issue. BOO freakin h*o!!! YOU lost the phone, YOU called and had it put on the blacklist, it takes time to get it off that list. They can submit it quckly but CAN NOT take it off as fast. So YOUR problem is a LACK OF PATIENCE!!! NOT that Cricket has in ANY WAY ripped YOU off, but that YOU HAVE TO WAIT!!!! Trust me, if someone wishes to contact YOU, then they WILL find a way. YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT A PHONE UNTIL THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED!!That phone IS NOT your life support. Its JUST a tool.
