Custom Built Personal Training Services never rendered Glastonbury Connecticut
In September 2015, I was working for WOW Fitness in Glastonbury, CT, which was associated with Custom Built Personal Training. While on shift, I was approaced at the front desk by a Custom Built representive, that I was coworkers with.
He signed me up for personal training while assuring me I could cancel at any time due to my employment at WOW. I did not have a chance to look over the contract because I was working. I was never given a paper copy of the contract when I asked for one.
I left WOW fitness in October of 2015, and only received 3 personal training sessions before then. I went to work for another gym facility, Renegade Fitness in Waterford, CT; which did not have Custom Built Personal Training. When attempting to cancel the contract with Custom Built, I was told I could not cancel. My trainer agreed to allowing me to cancel, however management did not.
Since then, I have tried to contact Custom Built and dispute the services I did not receive and cancel my contract. They have sent it to collections agency, who has harrassed me continuously. I currently work at a daycare center and do not want the services nor want to continue paying for services I am not receiving. On top of not paying for the unused services, I do not want this to effect my credit.
