Dell Computer Corporation ripoff Texas *UPDATE ..After sending my Rip-off Report to DELL, they are so nice now!
i purchased a dell dimension 8200 desktop computer on 12-31-01 and in thecomputer i got a dvd burner. the burner was suppose to burn dvd+rw media and dvd+r media. the burner does not burn the dvd+r media. it was a misprint and a false advertisment.
i have been contacting dell for 8 months now and i still dont have a new drive. all they do is transfer you to hundreds of different people. thay have a new dvd+rw drive that works great but they said it is not there problem and they wont send me one.
i will never deal with dell again.. if you are looking to buy a dell DONT gat anyother pc but dell.

after 9 months of dell not helping me i finally sent a report to the bad buisness bureau and with in 2 weeks of sending that report. they must have contacted dell dell was so nice to me and they sent me a brand new drive and no questions were asked. they were very professional about it.
so if you have a problem and dell wont help you just send a report to the bad buisness bureau witch can be found on the net and hopefully thay help you to!!!

also i forgot to add if you do get a dell computer and have to call for assistance try not to have any plans because i shortest time i spent on the phone on hole was 2 hours the rest of the call were more.
