They burned through my car's clear coat trying to take out some scratches, and they aren't paying for the damages. It's going to cost $1500 to repaint the areas damaged. I'm still trying to get something from them.

I am the former manager of this Car Wash and Detail Center, however I had a baby and was not working for the company at the time you had your dispute. First of all, I don't know which "owner" you spoke to because you didn't get a name, but there were two owners, and I'm sure you would have had better luck had you spoken to the current sole owner, Joe Albert. Let me just say, he is very fair, and if, in fact, your vehicle was damaged as a result of the car wash, he would go out of his way to rectify the situation. Also, if Joe had a mere penny for every time someone claimed that the car wash damaged their vehicle, he would be a millionaire. You would not believe the lengths that some people go to just to get a free wash or get their car fixed at Joe Albert's expense, or the former owner's, Carlo Zovich. My question to you is this: If you believed that your first car was damaged at the car wash, why on earth would you advise a friend to bring their vehicle there if the first situation wasn't rectified? Im no genius but it just seems like common sense to me that I personally would not go back to a place of business that had ruined my first vehicle, and a BMW at that. When I worked there, and now that Mr. Albert is the sole owner, customers are always treated with the upmost respect, and I have personally seen him do anything and everything he can to make a customer happy along with his wife, Wendy. Diamond Brite Car Wash was and still is voted, by customers, the best car wash in Connecticut. Instead of posting this nast rip off report, why not give Joe or Wendy a call and tell them what happened. You know the number.
