What can I say that everyone else here has already stated. We fell into the trap as well...product and financial. You are right! They do prey off those young new couples that anticipate a new beginning only to be faced with a product that does not live up to the presentation and a financial company that strives off the small print.

Simplicity Gourmet (SG) states, "If a product is found defective it will be replaced or repaired at no additional charge. We offer a 1 year in store credit good toward any other product or service of equal or greater value. Sorry no refunds. If handles or knobs are broken, SG will replacce them at no additional charge." I have all my paperwork, but have not found anything on their "Lifetime Warranty."

Equtable Acceptance Corp (EAC) even have an operator just a voicemail, meaning they contct you (if they want to). The presentation boasted low interest, but the small print in which they forgot to mention and that you signed (if financing) is very decieving. Unfortunately, for legal purposes EAC is within their limits. Don't get me wrong I am still upset on how SG briefed the financial portion.

I won't go into details of how unimpressed my wife and I are with the cookware because you have already gone over everything, and I have the same issues. What it comes down to is a company that prey's off of the public. By not announcing the company name, we can not do any research on the product. Then being put on the spot to purchase because you will have no other opportunity is a chance that we took. We were had...bottomline.

I am currently in touch with SG and trying all alternatives to replace or get another product for my money. Of course I left a message because no one answered the phone...again.

We must make this company aware to everyone else someway somehow!!!

I am an employee of Simplicity Gourmet and work in the customer service department.  Every customer receives a brochure at the time of purchase.  Our warranty is on the back side of the brochure.  I will attach a picture of the warranty to the post as well.  The warranty states:

Lifetime Warranty
Pro-Health Ultra Cookware has manufactured your products to the highest standards.  Each stainless steel part is unconditionally warranted against defective material and workmanship for the purchasers lifetime and is transferable once.  To transfer the warranty simply send a copy of the original purchase documents and the new owners name and address to Pro-Health Ultra at the address below.
If a stainless steel part rusts, warps, chips, cracks, bends, melts, or breaks, this is considered defective.  Simply return the piece, postage  pre-paid, and we will repair or replace the item at no charge.
This warranty does not cover the damage caused by misuse or alterations to the product.  If a phenolic (handle or knob) breaks or no longer functions, Pro-Health Ultra will make a replacement without inquiry as t cause provided the purchaser pay a nominal fee for such phenolic parts.
This warranty gives you specific rights; and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
If service becomes necessary, send the product along with a description of claimed defect to your local authorized distributor or to:
Pro-Health Ultra Cookware
Customer Service Department
157 Airport Road
Clarksville, TN 37042

We stand behind our products 100%.  Our warranty is also listed on our company website: www.simplicitygourmet.com.

I assume at this point your questions have been answered and you have received the help you needed with your cookware.  Our warranty is listed on the back of our brochure.  Every customer receives a copy of this at the time of purchase.  It is a lifetime warranty.  If you need a copy of this, please let us know.  We can mail a brochure to you or email it to you.  The warranty is also stated on our website under customer service, product warranties, then cookware.

If you need any other assistance, or have any questions, please don't hesitate to call customer service at 1-866-897-7676.  If you leave a voice mail, rest assured that all calls are returned within 24 business hours.   We look forward to hearing from you.
