My husband talked to someone at this horrid company before Christmas and was quoated a reasonable premium for each month.  It was something like $138.  Okay, that sounds great!  Only problem was, we didn't have the money for the down payment and woukd call the next week.  On Christmas Eve, my husband calls again but this time the premium has gone up.  Now it is $242 a month.  Well, that seems okay.  We get emails from them stating that they, now, want "proof" of my husbands medical insurance and a declaration page from our previous carrier.  So, my husband calls them back, and gives them the info.  Another email comes, and it says the premium has changed.  Husband calls them and they are saying that the medical insurance, that he has is secondary.  What??  He has medical insurance from the state of Michigan,  They said that they called the insurance company and verified his coverage.  His insurance, so they said, will cover the costs of injury above what the auto insurance covers; so that is considered secondary insurance.  Mind you, they have already pulled money from my husbands bank account to cover the first month of insurance.  So, now the monthly premium is up to $397 a month!  No way, can we afford this.  The vehicle, that is being insured is a 1993 pick-up!  Hisband called to cancel the whole thing, today.  They will send back the unused premium in the amount of $150.  What?  So in a week, he used $110 of that insurance?  Beware people who live in the stae of Michigan and have medical insurance thruogh the state.
