To whom it may concern,

I am reporting a scam that should be investigated. Not only is this company doing a scam on consumers but it also is committing criminal acts such as Fraud using the Postal Service and Credit Card Fraud. This companies procedures involve the United States Postal Service, the Internet and Credit Cards. The company website for this company is:

http://sbaloans.businessdealsweb.com/co/businessdealsweb/01/?sid=M2AG0001cGS

Company Names:

EBF or Express Business Funding

Business Deals Web.com

Stamps.com

VistaPrint

They advertise on the internet with websites and pay per click search ads and they offer a number of things, but the real reason they have the website is to get peoples credit card information so that they can begin billing people on a regular monthly basis. But they state it's free on the first page. Then you send them your credit card to pay the shipping and handling of $3.95 and then they begin to bill you monthly from them on for $49.95 and $7.95.

We have received numerous complaints in relation to this company and their customers say that they have emailed many times and they will not stop the billing. Also if you notice there are no contact numbers, email addresses, office addresses or any other contact information on their website. It is simply a scam to get someone's credit card information and then to begin a monthly billing to them. Many people do not read their credit card charges monthly and as a result they probably keep scamming people for a long time. Also, since this company makes it impossible to contact them people cannot figure out how to stop the billing.

This is a scam that lures people with a promise of something that is better than reality. It's a too good to be true type of scam. But at first glance it is very hard to catch the scam from reading their websitesyou have to click to the final website to see what is going on and also talk to their customers to know what is happening.

If you click on the SBA Loan site everything looks fine until you click to get the free CD. Then you go to the second page where they assert Your SBA Loan is Guaranteed and Certified 100% Guarantee. Where is the guarantee? What is the Guarantee? Stating such a thing is a criminal act from what I know about this. It is ok to have a guarantee that if they do not get the loan they get their money back, but it is not ok to state that the loan is 100% Guaranteed.

Also they use the United States Postal Service to deliver the CD. From what I know about credit card companies, it is very hard to do a chargeback if the company sent you something through the mail. So the customers end up with very little ability to fight this problem. The company can basically keep billing a customer over and over forever or for as long as they can get by with it.

This company also does this same kind of thing with Printing and with Free Postage and who knows what else scams they have that work the same way. But you can see the other two scams in the same link as given above. They basically advertise on the net something that is too good to be true, get the customers credit card info for a free this or that for only the Shipping and Handling (which is just an excuse to get the customers credit card information and start the monthly billing) and then they might send out the cd or might not. That part we do not know. We do have many customers that say they don't get the CD. We have many customers that also say that they will not stop billing them.

Something needs to be done about this clear consumer scam and we hope that the government does something about it.

I would suggest that the Postal Inspector Service as well as the FBI begin an investigation into this companies Credit Card practices as well as the fraudulent activities of this company. They should be put out of business. It is a blatant fraud on consumers with no information for a consumer to solve the problem once it begins. They should be removed from Google Pay Per Click Advertising as well as Yahoo/Overture or any other pay per click advertising that they use. Their sites should be closed down as well as the domains closed off. The credit card charges should be traced to figure out who they are and where the money is going and then for the business to be stopped in it's tracks. That will stop them from victimizing anyone else.

I hope this helps to get this done.

I just wanted to take a moment to address your comments about our company. We market products that cover a variety of areas, aimed at helping clients with finding a grant that fits their needs, the grant writing process, applying for SBA loans, etc. There are no commitments with the free product, only the shipping and handling charge. There is a bonus free trial period to the website membership that accompanies the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation page and in the confirmation/thank you email. The trial period is free for 14 days and we would not charge anyone that cancels during the trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer ends. For customer service you may call 866-370-7270 and they'll be happy to cancel your account. If you've already tried our customer service department and feel like you weren't treated fairly please call me ASAP and I will address your concern immediately. I can be reached on my cell phone at 435-773-1795 or via email at [email protected]. Sincerely, Ryan R.
