EZ PASS NJ EZ PASS REFUND NOT GRANTED Newark, New Jersey
I called EZ Pass today to speak with a representative. I had
made a payment of $220 instead of $20 that was an error made with my iphone. I
called to ask for a refund because I was recently lost my job and wouldnt be
driving that route anymore.
The representative put me on hold to wait for a supervisor.
I was connected to Yanira #40063, but wasnt given her full name. I asked
Yanira about having a refund because of the overpayment amount. She, was rude
and had an attitude with her answers to my questions. Yanira said it wasnt EZPass fault there was
nothing that could be done. I explained to her that I recently been unemployed
and this money was part of my rent. Yanira said there is nothing I could do. I asked was there a corporate or
financiace department number so I can talk with someone she said no. I asked
if the refund could be processed and she said only if the credit card number
was on file and this is a one time payment. She then hung the phone up.
I had to call back and ask for another representative to
help me. I was very bothered and think that this was insensitive and a poor reflection
of customer service. Its difficult to manage financially and find work but,
its even more of a challenge to deal with people like Yanira. I dont think
that customer service should be handled like this.
