This Company sent me a letter, on 11/29/08 stating that I won 125,000.00 US dollars and sent me a very real looking check for $4875.00. The letter said not to cash the check until I talked to an agent becauseI had to pay $2875.00 in taxes.

The letter said to send the money directly to the tax agent listed in the letter and to keep the winnings confidential until I paid the cash for the taxes. This was to avoid unscrupulous acts by other people who take advantage of this program.

I could not believe they would say this when at a time i need money so desperately for bills and Christmas, when in all actuality they are the ones who are fraudulent and unscrupulous. Surely they need to be held responsible for their actions and made to have to pay for raising peoples hopes only to have them dashed.

I received the same letter as Gracey from Indiana. I decided that this was too good to be true, especially since I was unable to recall entering a sweepstakes. The watermark that should be in the check is not and the bonding of the paper the letter is printed on is not that of an upstanding business. For those of you who are sure if you entered a contest, don't cash anything. It is not worth you getting in a lot of trouble for wire and mail fraud. Eventually these individual will be caught and the price is going to be a hefty one they will have to pay.
