First Extended Service Corporation (Portfolio) ripoff, won't honor automobile extended service warranty Dallas Texas
I paid $1,395.00 for their deluxe warranty that was supposed to cover anything that went wrong with my used vehicle, the vehicles intake gasket developed a leak causing coolant to enter the combustion chamber of the engine and blew out the headgasket this caused coolant to enter the engine and destroyed the bearings of the engine runining the engine.
They refused to cover the replacement of the engine and would only cover the gaskets that blew out even though replacing the gaskets would do no good as the engine had been destroyed, I have had to purchase a rebuilt engine and have it installed at a total cost of $3,499.00
I purchased this warranty from Tag Automotive a used car dealer in Fresno CA whoes salesman lied when he told me and I quote "If anything at all goes wrong with your car this contract will cover it"

I EXPERIENCED A BLOWN HEAD GASKET IN MY 2001 DODGE INTREPID. AFTER CONTACTING THE DEALER I BOUGHT MY CAR AT THEY INFORMED ME THAT I NEEDED A NEW MOTOR. FIRST EXTENDED SERVICE CORP SENT OUT AN INSPECTOR FROM THEIR OFFICE. AND DETERMINED INDEED I DID NEED A NEW MOTOR. I RECEIVED A USED MOTOR AND ONLY HAD TO PAY MY 100.00 DEDUCTIBLE AND 50.00 IN PARTS. YOU DID NOT READ YOUR COPY VERY WELL BECAUSE NO WHERE DOES IT SAY EVERYTHING IS COVERED. IT DEPENDS WHAT SERVICE YOU PAID FOR WITH THEM. NEVER LISTEN TO SOMEONE ELSE TELL YOU WHAT IS COVERED READ FOR YOURSELF. MY BILL FOR 1500.00 COST ME 150.00. THANK YOU TURLOCK AUTO PLAZA AND FIRST EXTENDED SERVICE CORP.
