Complaint Review: Gary's Pest Control - Wake Forest North Carolina

The only thing I can think of is the woman that reported this literally has the wrong guy. You had someone come out named Gary and you've made an accusation on the wrong business. (exhibit A - no way Gary is in his 40s! ha!)

Gary has been my bugman since I was a baby. I literally feel like I grew up with him. My mom used him before my parents were married, and I'm now grown and have used him on my own for 8 years. I just did a google search to see if he was still taking new customers in order to recommend him to a friend of a friend ---and this is what I see. Last I heard, he wasnt taking on anyone new. Why? Because he's taken in his parents, and also cares for his grandchildren several times a week. I had to make an account just to say this is not true.

He is the sweetest man in the world, hardworking, and has the best customer service around. He's taken care of every issue I've ever had...once for free because my landlord was so horrible about the situation he just wanted to do the right thing. I cannot recommend him highly enough, and this report is OBSURD. I have other girlfriends that have used him at my recommendation, all with ZERO issue, and ZERO concern.

I'm not quick to tell someone their experiences are false, but this is just slander and needs to come down.

I've known Gary and received pest control service from him for 20 years. On the basis of personality alone, it is completely implausible to think that he would do something like what is described in this report. It's just impossible to imagine this individual doing anything even remotely like going through someone's dresser drawers, let alone the kind of sexually-directed behavior that's specifically described. I have absolute confidence that this didn't happen. I also have no concerns about the quality of his actual controlling of the pests, but that's almost incidental in the context of this report. Frankly, a charge like this, made anonymously like this, is a grossly unfair assault on an honest man's reputation. Gary's a standup guy running a one-man service business - even IF he were inclined to do something inappropriate, he'd be crazy to threaten his own livelihood like that. If he actually had a "reputation for teenage girls" (which makes no sense, by the way) he would have been out of business years ago. I have no idea what's behind this person's report, and I don't believe it's true.

Lisa, Let me tell you what I think of your opinion of Gary Beard- Your not intitled to one!! I am. I have known Gary for over 16 years and not only has he solved every bug situation I ever had he has also proven to be one of the finest human beings I had the good fortune to meet. As far as your out right lie of his interest in your daughters panties, ITS LAUGHABLE!!!! He's not the type of man to risk losing his business and family (which includes 3 teenage daughters) for your sick tale on his good character. I am sure your home must be beyond this professionals one time treatment and suggests more of a swarm of problems beginning and ending with you. I simply do NOT believe this accusation. Gary Beard has provided pest control service at my home since fall of 1988, when I moved to Raleigh as a single woman in my 20s. He initially worked for a larger pest control company. Over the past 20 years, I have found him to be honest, down to earth, and one of the nicest men I know. Gary, a proud father, usually talks about his children when we chat during service calls. Like many of his customers, I continued to use Gary's service when he opened his own pest control company. The majority of his clients have come from referrals. I have never had issues with Gary's service. In fact, he typically says "If you have a problem, call me and I'll come back." He even came back to my house at no charge when an additional treatment was needed. I consider this excellent customer service. In reference to the 8/9/2006 posting from Lisa in Raleigh: Why on earth would friends refer someone they didn't trust? And, getting rid of ants on the outside often requires multiple treatments and the spray needs to be applied when the area is dry. I recommend Gary's Pest Control without hesitation.
