I purchased a very expensive big screen TV from HH Gregg on a promotion with their credit card issued by GE Capital.  I set up payments to be automatically taken out of my account on a monthly basis.  I called their customer service number in order to make an additional payment on my account getting INDIA as usual. They instructed me how to make a regular payment so i did, they instructed me how to activate the auto pay feature again. I did . I get more then one payment out of my account within days from the same months. OK no big deal so i paid more that month but this happened on 3 seperate occasions. On the last occassion because of all the past problems i decided to go online on my account the day before to make sure what the INDIA staff told mewas correct (They certainly are scripted and can not be reliable for correct info) and the payment amount was missing from their auto pay.  So I proceeded to call the customer service number getting INDIA again.  Knowing the past screw ups and communication i immediately ask for the untied states.  So while transferring me they disconnect me after i had to put all my info in before i got to speak to someone else. This went on 3 times the 4th time i get an american NICOLE who obviously was just as bad as the staff in INDIA.  She kept muting the call, ignorant behavior when you are speaking to someone , she had no idea about the information she was looking at on my account. She kept saying the last payment was 120.00 and the account was NOT on auto pay.  Well I know the last payment was 30 and i was looking at the online screen where it said it was on AUTO PAY just not displaying what the amount of auto pay it was going to take out.  She changed her story like 3 times told me that Amanda and Diane were coaching her.  I got frustrated because if the payment does not go through like it is supposed to they sock you with all the interest since inception and they already tried to do that to us with a BEST buypromotion despite all payments were made accordingly and the last payment was made by the date their INDIA staff said and they tried to charge us late fees and interest.  That was fought and won and so now they are trying it with HH GREGG credit card.  I demanded to speak to the supervisor myself because i didnt think i should be made to go through certain people when i could talk directly to them.  She finally agreed and then attempted to transfer(why did i think she would be able to do that task when she failed at everything else) Well she disconnected me.  This company is full of a bunch of robots who can't understand english and the one's who can speak english are total morons. I never made the 5th call because i attempted to contact corporate GE CAPITAL and i guess you can tell what i got when i called there, YEP you are right someone who barely could speak english.  Needless to say i called HH GREGG and told them you just lost a customer this card is a reflection on your company. I WILL NEVER buy another thing from them again in fear i have to go through this to ask a question about the finacing of my item.  DO NOT BUY A THING AND USE THEIR CARD FOR PROMOTIONS if you ever have a problem it will be hell.  I think if a credit card company has too many complaints they should be shut down sent to INDIA and put out of their misery for subjecting good customers to their BS. I think I will just pay the remaining 1200 shut the card down forget the name GE CAPITAL and hope they soon drop of f the face of the earth,  So the guy who complained about GE CAPITAL AND GOT A RESPONSE FROM NICOLE dont hold your breathe

Well just goes to prove you ASSUME and we both  know what that one means. What an idiot I am not originally from York or PA, moron so before you go making those kind of statements about where a person is from do YOUR HOMEWORK AND GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT before you open your mouth.  I moved here 3 years ago so blow that one out your righteous _________!!!!!!!!
and it is NOT sir as you ASSUME again!!!!!!

Sir, You were given a GE rep to resolve this issue. Sorry to read you are from York. That explains 99% of the incomprehension being exhibited thru inappropriate remarks. Wonder if you are from the "Rhett Lion" area...or Yoe! .Or Closer to Spring Grove. None the less , The homework was done and you are more then welcome to remain irate or you can step up to the plate and get resolution. Its your complaint....Deal with it as you see fit but dont come on this site expecting people to jump on the "look what they done to me" wagon  unless you are willingness to work thru this with an open mind.  Its great that you are bringing light to this matter.

I am sorry did i say i was trying to get a electronic statement or make an electronic payment. NO It concerns their auto pay feature, which if you wanted to comment on you should have done your homeowork.  But let me do it for you.  GE has an auto pay feature on their website turn it on turn it off select how much you want to come out every month and you dont have to go in and you can cancel at anytime.  I wanted to make an additional payment and the system for auto pay does not allow you to do that with auto pay on GET IT!!!!!!!!!so do your homework and read carefully. I also got disconnected numerous times

Try writing them and sending it via certified mail. Contact your BBB. They have a US Customer service phone number.
GE financial is a reputable company and while you encountered a unique scenario, you are more then welcome to write them.

Why are you not requesting a monthly electronic statement? You can then do an ACH funds transaction directly from your checking account. They do have flexible options if you simply do the homework.I do not work for this company directly. Our business works with them from a funding stance and they have been nothing short of accomodating every step of the way. But then again, as I stress my work situation may not be the same as the consumer themselves.....

In this age of technology there are avenues to get to the end result. You want to pay them and have accurate records. Best to you.
