On November 21, 2015 I received a quote for selling used video games from www.sellusedgames.com which is run by Jeffrey Winkler in Austin, TX. He promised to pay a total of $218.18 within 24 hours of receiving the items. He also provided a merchandise return label for the box which he paid for through his account from the United States Postal Service. His permit number is 545001. The box was mailed and received by him on November 30 2015. At one point there was one item returned with no documentation as to why it was returned. I never received payment for the other items.
On November 25, 2015 I received 3 different quotes from another of Mr. Winkler’s websites, www.sell-dvds.com for selling used DVD’s. The total amount of the 3 quotes was $315.03. I put the items into one large box and used the shipping label provided by Mr. Winkler through his account at the USPS. Again, his website promised payment within 24 hours of delivery. On December 8, I received emails from his stating that the box was received but damaged and that I would receive pictures as to the extent of the damage. I never received pictures or payment. On December 31, 2015 I receive d another set of emails stating that the boxes were received and that I should expect payment.
I have emailed Mr. Winkler several times to inquire about receiving payment for these items. He has not responded to any of my emails or phone calls. He is committing mail and internet fraud. He apparently has a history of this behavior and activity.
