If your looking to this company for employment, you may want to think twice.  Horrible Human Resources!  From seat of the pants training to their complete inability to predict workloads, driver placement or something as simple as insurance terms; if you decide to join this flying circus be prepared for a wild ride.

Amazon is crazy to let these wing nuts come anywhere near their operation.  Barnes and Noble learned fast from this mistake and pulled the plug.  Amazon is letting completely untrained, unknown, professional and unprofessional people carry their customers, "YOUR" product.

There are no drug or criminal background checks as they suggest, at least in the first stages of employment.  Anyone can come in off the streets and start handling and leaving with product.

In my one week of employment with this company I was told I would be paid four different rates and types of pay.  In my opinion, they are illegally and arbitrarily assigning pay rates based on whim and what fits their situation.

I signed a pay rate form of 1.25 per package.  Which by the way, is incredibly low.  I was then told by a manager we were actually getting 1.50 and 1.25 was as low as it would go.  I was also told we would have monies added on in cases of tough deliveries and then finally told I would be paid for my time on low delivery days.

Since I had a small load, I was told I would be getting paid for my time.  When I asked how much, I was told "I don't know, you will have to ask the manager and he's not here."

During my training period, the person who was assigned to me told me he made 200 dollars per week after expenses and before taxes.  This guy was working 8 to 10 hours per day.

Anyway,  You may be better off delivering pizzas which by the way, was what my route manager told a prospective hire.  So, stay clear.  Anyway, this company has a small future if any.

Lasership defines its self as the leading last mile delivery courier company, the business plan is built around the use of Independent Contractors. Company can rake in more profits by cashing in on this loophole! Company hires independent drivers to do all the deliveries for a fraction of the cost they charge their clients. For as low as $1.35 Lasership can get an Amazon packaged delivered by an unsuspecting driver who will need to deliver a lot of packages at this low rate to make ends meet. Company does not care for the drivers, their safety or well being. Their main focus is to get the packages attempted and make money. Participate here: http://lasershipexposed.wordpress.com/

But hold on, making money is not a crime in the US! Yes, it is not a crime to rake in all the money but at what expense? The company is posting record earnings on the backs of innocent people. They do not have to pay for vehicle insurance, fuel, maintenance or employment taxes. Lasership has been taking advantage of the independent Contractor Law loophole to avoid all expenses associated with drivers and delivery of packages. As result, you may end up getting very poor delivery service of your Amazon packages. What should you expect for low wages? Take a look at the horror stories here on Ripoffreport, is a world-class operation that is making a pricey mistake by teaming up with Lasership, based on the feedback that we saw online, Amazon may be loosing market share and potential customers due to the incompetence of Lasership and its ICs. Packages are constently miss-delivered, lost or damaged.
