I made a reservation on LastMinute.com. I opted for the FullFlex cancelation insurance. The insurance said it would pay 90% of my reservation price. When I made my reservation, they sent me an email saying if I had to cancel my reservation, “Write an email to [email protected] indicating your Booking ID.”

  1. Well, that email address is bad. My email was returned… from a different email address, [email protected].
  2. I went on lastminute.com website and cancelled the flight. I got an email offering 25. They owed me 100.
  3. Thankfully I paid through PayPal. I opened a dispute. I got a call from someone, offering me 15. IF I closed my PayPal dispute, then they would pay me. I could see the incredible scam, they were setting me up for. I close my claim, and they tell me to buzz off! I told her to pay me the 100 they owed me. She said she didn’t know anything, and would have to talk to someone who knew something, and would get back to me.
  4. I escalated the dispute to a claim. I submitted their contract that said they owed me 90% of the airfare. I also submitted the fake fullflex email address, the returned emails I got from there. I also stated that they had called me and offered me nothing and that I had to close my case, to get nothing.
  5. Needless to say I won the case. PayPal paid me back. THEN I get an email. The email said, “Our specialist team has advised you that you would need to cancel the dispute in order for us to check for more refund. Once we receive a confirmation of the cancellation of the dispute, they would be able to look into your concerns.”
