Lawrence Varkalis sold my mother in law a cemetary plot in Steger behind Columbia School.She went to the bank to get the cash...becasuse he would not take a personal check. She gave him $2500 for a cemetary plot that we came to find out from a neighbor of ours who has lived here over 40 years and has family buried there told her there are no plots available for sale. She tried contacting Lawrence Varkalis but he won't answer her phone calls now. He scammed my mother in law for $2500. Do NOT purchase anything from him or believe a word he has to say.
