Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have been scammed and I pray you don't make the same mistake I did!  Do not hire anyone online.  I have paid $2,800.00 to have my home mortgage remodified in January 2011 and todate, September 9, 2011 I am now facing forclosure and have not gotten any documentation from this company.  They avoid your phone calls, conveniently cannot find you in their system, send you to numerous phone numbers for refund, which you will not receive.

Send you emails stating they tried to contact you when in fact there is no messages on your phone not to mention their phone number does not even show up.  Please listen to me and please do not hire any company that calls you and wants money up front as well as do not hire any company and so called attorney's who in fact are not legal attorney's.  Always check with the Better Business Bureau in your state and file a complaint immediately.  Document, Document, Document, every email, phone call with date, time and person you spoke with and do not throw away anything!!  Keep a file.

I don't know if ROR allows addresses, but if they do, here's one for you.

archive.chicagobreakingbusiness.com/2011/03/illinois-ag-sues-law-firm-for-duping-consumers.html

If not, here's some of the text of the article (FU claimed)

"A Chicago-based debt-settlement company used lawyers as a front to
illegally collect massive fees from financially struggling consumers who
were seeking help, Attorney General Lisa Madigan alleged Wednesday.
Madigan filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the national firm Legal
Helpers Debt Resolution, based at 233 S. Wacker Drive in Chicago.
The company, also known as the law firm Macey, Aleman, Hyslip &
Searns, charged upfront fees for debt-consolidation services, which
became illegal in Illinois last year, the suit alleges. "

I'd get a lawyer and sue the attorneys personally, but that's just me.

Legal Helpers Debt Resolution - scam artists

Today it is 9/21/11 I have received several calls from several people at the Law office of Macey, Aleman, and Searns office in Scottsdale Arizona.  They continually promise to resolve this situation and even (said) they were sending my complaint "upstairs".  Like I told them I am so used to getting the run around from them that I won't hold my breathe!!!  First a Ken Gifford called, stated he would resolve this issue, then I hear twice from the "Vice President of operations" and all he could tell me when I told them I wanted a full refund of my $2,800.00 for services I did not receive, was that "you did receive services", excuse me but this process started in January of 2011 and it is now September 21, 2011 and I am having to short sell my home.  I am so angry, isn't there anyone out there that can help me?  These people lie, scam and ignor you.  There is NO compassion for the heartache they have caused you.  Does anyone know if a person could sue to get your money back?  I have heard of civil suits through the attorney general's what does that consist of?  I hope the people working for this company are proud of themselves and I hope that when they have to face the good Lord that they see videos of everything they did and everyone they distroyed.  LHDR, aka The Law Office of Macey, Aleman, Hyslip & Searns, aka Mortgage Modification Division (The Law OFfice of Macey, Aleman & Searns), aka The Morgage Law Group, aka Legal Helpers Debt Resolution, LLC, aka [email protected].  Offices in Scottsdale Arizona, Chicago Illinois, etc.  DO not do any loan modifications online or over the phone.  Go directly to your mortgage company or an attorney.  I am just devistated!!!!

Well it is now September 13, 2011.  I received a phone call last Friday from a person named Ken Gifford who works for LHDR, and all the other AKA's they go by.  He said he was replying to my email sent cancelling my services with LHDR, Macey, Aleman & Searns etc.  He asked why and I told him point blank why, no service, no documentation, no correspondence, loosing my home due to their scam and want refund.  He said he would talk to the UPPER MANAGEMENT with the firm and have them call me a.s.a.p., I told him I won't hold my breath as they NEVER return calls and once again I was right.  It is Tuesday and no word from anyone.  I strongly suggest as I am doing myself to contact the BBB in your town, call the attorney general, file a complaint with every BBB they have a business in that town and also with the Bar Association.  My home is gone, whether foreclosure or short sale I hope they are happy and can sleep at night.  Please if anyone has had problems with this company please post it and take the action to close them down for good!
