Legal Helpers LLC Filed Chapter 7, paid the money - they did nothing after money was paid. Chicago Nationwide
I filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy May 10, 2011 after my parents suggested this company. They handled my parents Bankruptcy perfectly (Smooth Sailing for them) - I paid this company over $3000.00 including court fee's.
Everything was suppose to have been taken care of, I went and bought a car last year and I told them about me going through a hard time and I filed chapter 7 in 2011, weird part my credit was TERRIBLE (worse then before the bankruptsy) and it didn't indicate bankrupsy at all on my credit report.
Now I am trying to get a new Mortgage and my credit has gone up a little from making my car payments, however the bank checked my credit history and again it don't indicate that bankrupty has ever been filed, also all the accounts that was suppose to have been taken care of all show they are charged off now.
Legal Helpers no longer have a website and all the phone numbers including the main phone number I had for them are no longer in service.
I found a lawyer in Chicago that now has a lawsuit against Macey and againt Aleman, for people going through the same thing I am going through right now. However I live in Pennsylvania and that lawyer can't help me. I called the Atterny General and I have to file a complaint against Legal Helpers (Macey & Aleman), I could also sue them but that will not help my credit.
I now have to try to dispute everything on my credit to try and make it not charged off, find another lawyer and file bankruptcy all over again. And there is no garentee this will even help me at all.
My advice don't deal with Thomas Macey or Jeffrey Aleman EVER, you will get screwed over.
