Lighthart Sales tried to scam us by installing cheap springs in our garage door causing it to malfunction Then they wanted us to pay for the repairs. Cheektowaga New York
Lighthart Sales was the company the builder of our new home contracted with to install our garage door. A year and a half after our closing the door nearly fell off the track.
When I contacted Lighthart they wanted to charge me to come out and look at it. I explained that the door had always acted funny and that I thought their might have been a problem with the installation or parts, but they had no interest in hearing what was wrong with the door or investigating the problem without guarantee of being paid for the work.
I found another company to come and fix the door and they explained that the wrong springs had been used in the initial installation and that is why the door was malfunctioning and nearly fell off.
We contacted the owner and explained the situation and he again had no interest in trying to resolve the situation. His response was to insult me and the company that fixed the door. Our door works better now than the day it was installed. I hope anyone in Western NY who is in need of a garage door will think twice before contacting Lighthart Sales.
