MAYNOR'S UPHOLSTERY Maynor led me to believe he was a Master of "old world craftsmanship" but I think that was just a big deception. But he's a salesman who will tell you whatever he needs to BS you on! Shoddy HAYWARD California
On 5/4/17 I contacted Maynor's Upholstery Shop & he Led me to believe he was an Old World Artisan of Leather Upholstery! I chose to have my Chairs redone because I had Back issues. Maynor knew this & agreed to put extra Padding in the Chairs! Well..I received the Chairs back after about 3 weeks. He had been in South America! The chairs were delivered on a Friday afternoon! The Chairs looked OK ..so I wrote him a Check for Labor (He was in a Hurry because Traffic was Bad) After he left..I started sitting in the Chairs & they were Miserable ..You could feel the Wood Poking thru the Leather! As I looked at all the stuff hurting me in the Chair. I could see what Shoddy Work he had done. *I called my Son-in-law over & he was shocked & starting taking pics of the Chairs! Saturday morning ..I called the Bank & put a stop on the Check! The Padding is so thin..the Wood in the Arms hurt you! All of the Chair Pokes you all over your Body as You sit in the Chair! Miserable ! The 6 Whole Hides I bought were Top Grade Leather & Cost $949.79 at a big discount! I cannot find this Deal again! The Leather is pulled so tight..you could never squeeze Padding in the chair! I am out of the Chairs..the Leather Hides the Labor was for nothing! Maynor claims he has done this for 70 yrs! All of this aggravation ..Shopping for Leather ..Shopping for a Crafts person was a waste of time & Money! I have asked Maynor to send me a Check for the Hides & He wanted to pick up my Chairs. My Chairs..My Leather & I get My Hide Money only ! This Man is insane ..he imagines he is the Consumer who has been harmed! I tried to reason with him & he will just stop communicating as tho you will go away! Maynor refuses to leave Paper work..receipts or any Docmentation like normal Merchants! He does not lke a Paper Trail! I thought I ws getting a Real Pro...! The Joke was on me! He wants to do Business his way & ignore any Laws set forth for other Merchants! I would suggest that yo not do Business with this man ..he will rip you off too! **The Law does not apply to him is the attitude I get from him!

**Maynor Barnica does not have a Business Lic to operate his Shop! He had one in 8-31-91 but not since then . His Business # with BEARHFTI WAS #94311. This is Bureau of Electronic Appliances Repairs & Home Furnishings! Their # is 916-999-2041. bearhfti,ca.gov to see info!
