Two months ago, my Godmother received the invitation in the mail for a free cell phone and activation for $29.99 per month. When she called to order the phone (one for me) she was told that she would have to order two if she wanted to get one for me.

Not thinking, she ordered the two phones. When they arrived, two days later than they were supposed to, We called Worldcom to find out if we were going to be charged for both phones.

We learned that the operator that took the order was incorrect and we only had to order one. We were given a number to call to request return labels so we could send one of the phones back.

My Godmother tried for four days one end to get someone at that number, but could never get through to anyone (all operators busy, call back later).

She finally put the phone in its origional box and mailed it back, insured, and registered, through the Post Office.

She recieved the reciept indicating that the phone was received and signed for by a rep of Worldcom.

Last week, we recieved two bills, one for my phone, and one for the phone we mailed back.

Each bill is in the amount of over $30.00. I have tried to call Worldcom Customer service, and cannot get anyone to answer the phone. All I get is a message indicating that all the operators are busy, call back later.

I tried to figure the bills out and I can't make sense of them, the amounts don't add up.

Today, I decided to go online and see if I could contact someone at Worldcom by email, and I can't even log onto their web site... a message said their website is busy with numerous other users????

That is when I discovered this website and the numerous other complaints on the same company, regarding the same phones.

If anyone is filing a class action suit, you can add me to the list...

It is amazing to me that this company is still in business, considering the amount of complaints that seem to be comming in on the same types of problems.

Needless to say, I am in deep consideration of sending the second phone back.
