I lost my job with a Fortune 500 company about a year ago. In my job search I found MONSTER.com and applied for a several jobs. I was totally ripped off by Monster ads because they all led to either non-existent jobs or jobs with businesses that are under investigation by some government acronym, telemarketing, or some other type of scam. I am so mad I could spit that I wasted all my time trying to find a job via the Internet on this SCAM SITE.

Some of the scams they advertise are Bernard Haldane, Options Talent, Primerica, and I even learned about this website because they had a positon listed. I saw that they had a need for an investigator in several locations around the country; about 8 or 10 locations. I was willing to relocate so I submitted my resume. Shortly thereafter, I was contacted by Ripoff Report and told that they did not place the ad. They even told me that after having informed MONSTER that the ad was filed fraudulently MONSTER refused to remove it. As of this writing, it is still on their site. What is Monster thinking?

I thought I would also get some help from a "reputable" employment agency and found Bernard Haldane. Their schlock was so greasy it made me sick. "Do you have a significant other? Bring the little lady with you." I have a degree in psychology and knew exactly what they were doing. It also made me wonder why the Better Business Bureau did not have an unsatifactory rating on MONSTER.

Same with Primerica, I had no idea what they were and I thought it was a legitimate financial planning career. When I got there they were just a bunch of evangelical kooks. I felt like I was supposed to stand up and shout, Hallelujah! Options Talent - more of the same sleezy schmultz. If you sacrifice all for us and work 16 hours a day for the chance of eventually getting a salary, and you might get laid by a model - if you can become as sleezy as us. I really knew that there was something wrong with MONSTER after I went to the model scout training seminar.

MONSTER owes me for five weeks of lost job hunting time. Apparently Monster has no regard for the unemployed, and only worried about getting their advertising fees. I'm told as I'm writing this, Monster is owned by a lawyer. Figures. That explains everything.

I am a former employee of MONSTER. I was not fired or forced to quit. I quit because I have seen the lack of integrity at Monster and in big business generally. First Enron, then MCI, now AOL and it was my experience at MONSTER that ethics is available only by convenience.

I know that in two cases mentioned in this report that MONSTER does have an "arrangement." I know that Primerica or PFS pays good money to get the resumes of people who appear to be particulary hard-up and most likely unable to get a job.

Also, MONSTER is part of the conspiratorial alliance with Options Talent Group out of Atlanta and Florida. MONSTER knowingly places all kinds of bogus ads for them and sends them a database of people who respond. Chris Power, MONSTER's CFO talked quite a bit with a Mr. Elliott from Options about a year ago. They also did some technical work for Options to screw with some of their former employees. MONSTER's bulldog (pronounced bull d**e) from the legal department is Donna Guilmette. She is mean and vicious (don't intend on sounding stereotypical). That's why they have her. She does not mind bending the law to help with their unethical schemes. She really should be disbarred. She is the one who handles the tough customer complaint and she has a very scary characteristic: if she loses, she gets even. She gets buddy-buddy with the tech geeks to help her screw with people. I would not doubt she was involve in screwing with you. If you have any complaints with MONSTER or any company they represent. Her email address is [email protected]

Finally, if anything goes on at MONSTER, the President knows. They try to create deniability for him but believe me he knows and is in the middle of most of it. That how they made their millions. His name is Steve Pogorzelski and his email is: [email protected]

His secretary, oh, I'm sorry Administrative Assistant, is Melissa Trumbley. She seems nice but is in the habit of covering for them. She is the velvet whip.
