Office Max ripoff Savannah Georgia
29 July 2003, I purchased Sharpie Metallic Markers from Office Max for $3.99 and received a rebate form to mail in. The rebate was for $3.99. Eight weeks later I received an e-mail from Sakar I concepts that the rebate check was in the mail. In early November I still had not received the check and waited until 15 days ago to contact the Office Max store manager here in Savannah, Ga. I explained the situation to her, showed her the Office Max receipt and asked her for help.
She retorted that Offrice Max had nothing to do with the rebate and would not take back the markers (which I had with me) and refund my money. It's a small amount but I feel that Office Max cheated me and I WILL NEVER GO INTO THEIR STORE AGAIN.
