Interesting that in their 'rebuttal', the service tech didn't respond to ANY of the issues I complained about (which are completely true). Also of interest, you may notice that in the original compliant, I did not complain about the service itself. I had no issue with the service but with the customer service and billing practices. Not only did I not complain about the pest control services, the tech went out of his way to defame me my making claims that aren't even true, i never suggested they treat outside of my boundary and have no idea what else he is talking about.
Bottom line, they do a find job killing pests as long as you don't mind being extorted after you are done with their service.

I am the technition for thousand oaks. I have been with the co. since 1989. this guy wanted us to put pestacides outside the bounderies and time frames of the law. I have hundreds of satisfied customers for years. I keep my license by obeying the laws, regardless of customers demands. We supply lots of information written as well as verble, in order to keep our customers informed Respectfully Dennis McGrew

Simi Valley, CA....They did the SAME thing to me! Their service was ineffective, and after several months of no results, I called and CLEARLY canceled my service. Then 6 months later I get a call from a collection agency, saying I owed for several months of unpaid services....billed after I canceled service!
I explained to the collection company, who referred me back to Old Reliable. I was confident it was an innocent error, but I was wrong. They were very unprofessional, rude and denied that I canceled service...yelling at me over the phone.
As with the a the previous customer, they and blackmailed me for months, saying they would ruin my credit if I did pay. Even my lawyer warned me to just pay them...even though I didn't owe any money...because they are bad news and would ruin my credit.
I hope this saves someone else from their extortion tactics. I wish I has researched before employing their services.

However I can comment on our company policies. We, unlike other companies, ONLY bill when services are rendered, other then sending a monthly bill before services are preformed. We know things happen and only start to actively seek $$ after a customer falls 3 services behind. Due to the fact most customers are on a bi-monthly plan it could be 6 months before we even consider holding services. We are very diligent about resolving conflict before going to outside services (collection agency), this always a last resort for us to collect money owed to us.
