Precision Overhead Garage Door Service they replaced 2 springs, sprayed silicone (hers) and charged her $400. The door worked for 2 days. When called to return, they wanted a $69 service charge. Moorestown New Jersey
My 79 mom called Precision Door Service, located in Moorestown, NJ to repair her garage door opener. They came, replaced 2 springs, sprayed silicone (hers), spraying into the motor, causing sparks. She was charged $400.
The unit worked for 2-3 days. When the door wouldn't open either by remote or hand-pulled, she called them to return, thinking there was a warranty on their work. The tech wanted $69 for a service call; when she refused, he threatened to call the police on HER. She asked them to leave. On his way out, he told her they would bill her. Can you imagine?

This is the exact thing that Precision teaches it's employees, and yes they would have called the police and some how tried to turn it around on your mom. Have anothe rcompany come out and take a look at the door, a true company will do this for free w/ an estimate. After finding that PDS has tampered with her door, then call the police and report them for vandilism. Has she started to get weird and threatening phone calls from them? She will. Have they driven by her home to intimate her? They will. Have you mom get a heads up on them, have her go to the local police station, file a report as to the ongoings of that day. This way, when they start harassing her, she can call them and they are already informed as to the ongoings of this situation. You'll also want to notify your states Attorney General. Then go to the AARP's website and file a discrimination complaint. This will get them to back off. Good Luck!
