I prefer not to use my name because I am in binding arbitration with Pulte now and do not want to give them any ammunition at arbitration.

Crawl back in your hole and avoid the sad, deceitful, reality you intentionally create.

You have taken money from people who expected a quality product, free of major defects, minor defects fixed by skilled professionals, (not caulk specialist) and answers to legitimate concerns answered timely, truthfully and like you care about what you built, even if you do not.

You need to think about it as if you had bought the house you are there to help fix.

Pulte is a Fraud. I have had to pay lots of money and listen to lots of lies.

Pulte is in business to make as much money on it's bowed stick houses as possible.

They do this by using unskilled labor, substandard materials, and poorly experienced and intentionally deceitful, sales staff, project managers, and warranty managers trained lie to your face. Pulte's Corporate Managers dress differently but follow the same code of ethics.

I am in a development on the east coast.

I am sincere when I say this...I just hope the house stays together long enough to sell it when all the defects are somewhat worked through...I say it this way because I know all the defects can and will never be fixed.

For anyone considering the purchase of a Pulte home, ask the sales people, ask anyone from the company if they own a Pulte home.

Pulte will not put its name on the monuments at the front of our development. Ask the sales staff for a development nearby and drive to it, look at the houses, look at the siding and how it lays on the uneven bowed boards it's nailed to. Get out and ask a few people what they think of their Pulte home experience before investing in Pulte.

Beware, Pulte will do whatever deemed necessary to make a buck, they will lie right to your face!

It's happened to me!...more than once!

If you do decide to take a chance with Pulte, keep accurate records and read the warranty book cover to cover. Pulte makes you agree to binding arbitration. You only have 13 months from the date of settlement to file for this binding arbitration, and Pulte intentionally makes specific information regarding the arbitration process ambiguous. Certain required information is not in writing and you must go through a song and dance routine with the company to get this information...they act as if it's all new to them...yea...right!

Pulte is like a migraine waiting to happen!

I asked the Pulte salesman what would happen if I decided not to buy the home. He assured me that Pulte has never really kept the $4,000 deposit and would simply return it. That was a big fat lie.

As my situation changed 30 days after putting down the deposit I asked for the deposit back in writing. Not only did they keep the deposit, but they refused to even reply to my requests. I sent about 4 letters to them and they simply ignored them.

I think I was more upset by Pulte refusing to reply than their keeping the deposit. They don't care about people.

I looked it up and Pulte sold the very home I backed out on for a LOT more money than I had contracted for. They could have returned the money easily but did not. I actually did them a huge favor by backing out.

Never will I buy a Pulte home and I'll make sure everyone knows what kind of people they are.
