RCA - THOMSON Electronics Ripoff Electronic lemons Durant Oklahoma
I bought a new television from RCA! It is a 27 inch trueflat design. Within a week of having it, the picture went out of shape. I called the factory authorized service center and they came out to get it. They broke my furniture while getting the television. This inspired me to call the parent company. RCA/THOMSON. They dont have a 800 number and the website only allows you 500 characters to write to them. I was told to write a complaint to them. I did this promptly.
I told them that due to the short time that it failed in that I thought that it was a defective television. Then I got my television back and it worked for two weeks and has failed again. I called and asked RCA what was up with the complaint that I filed. They read me the letter that I am going to be getting in the mail. So much for customer care. The letter basically says that nothing is wrong and they dont have anything to do with service centers.

here is the number for the corporate office 317-267-5000 i would absolutely call the office of the president and tell them your problem and also send them a copy of your post on this site. hopefully they will pay more attention
