I booked a Royal Holiday Resort through RCI. They were not informed of extravagant extra fees charged by RHC, They demanded around $5oo. before they would admit to room. Get exact fees in writing!! Royal Holiday and RCI accepted no responsibility. This practice is outragious!!!

I bought a timeshare with Royal Holiday and they lied to me at everything, every time I check for travel dates are not available and it's cheaper to booked flight and hotel with Expedia. The service is really bad, I asked to speak to the manager and was told that I cannot talk to her and that I cannot cancel my membership.
I't´s been a nightmare for me!!! I was doing a research on internet about this fraudulent resort and how to get out of this fraud, i found this information and i want to share it with you, i hope it helps someone:

Many hotels, especially in tourist areas, add resort fees that you MUST pay even if you do not use the services. But they can include things that are free at Motel 6, like swimming pool, internet access, etc. It is just another way to rob the consumer. These places are too cowardly to give the real rates because no one would go there. Also, when you book through a 3rd party (online agency) they will not tell you about the resort fees because they only book the room for you.
