That way they can repo your vehicle and sell it to another schmuck.
-"Just for the record, I did try to call Santander before the extra payment was taken out"
You can't deal with LIARS. You should've contacted the bank as soon as you got suspicious.

If you have less than $300.00, to your name, why are you buying an automobile?

Unfortunately for you, you will not recieve your refund for a long time. I am in the same position. They drafted from my account 1Mar and here it is 7Jun and still no refund. I have heard different answers from every CS rep that I have talked to. First I was supposed to get a direct deposited back into my account, then they send a check. Then they placed a stop payment on the check..said they was re-issuing another check, never recieved that one. Been told that they are waiting for the accounting dept to deterimne the in result. Call Mrs. Christy Walker at 817-605-4911. She is a floor manager for the CS dept. She's useless, but call and leave messages on her answering machine. This company is horrible. I'd never had any issues when my former bank sold the accoutn to them until this situation occurred. Hopefully you will recieive your refund soon.
