select home warranty warranty company states that they cover water heaters. mine failed so.bad it had to be replaced because it leaked when it failed they said that the policy doesnt cover leaks and would not cover the service. they are. a fraud. when it comes to home warranty companies select another one new jersey new jersey
select does not stand behind their warranty. when products fail their fine print allows them to wiggle out of services. my water. heater failed. plumber said it could not be repaired and bad to be replaced. water leaked out of case. after two weeks they finally took the position that they dont cover leaks and offered 100$ on a thousand dollar replacement. i turned them down. when choosing a home warranty compny selesct another one. they stall make you jump through hoops and then dont cover anyway. who could go two weeks with a leaking water heater? you get so frustated you take care of the repair on your own.
