Tax Ready Rip-off
I signed up for this tax ready service back in July of 2001. I have been trying to collect my refund ever since. It has been a total joke dealing with these people. I faxed in my request for the refund within the 30 days that I had to cancel. After that, Joe G. called me and offered this extended guarantee and I told him I would not accept it until I spoke with my husband. I made it specifically clear to him and to the verfier Laura. The conversation I had with Laura was recorded. Joe G. agreed that if my husband did not want the service that I could call back and he would take care of the refund. He also stated that I would get this guarantee in writing. I also requested from Laura for her to include in this written guarentee about my right to cancel if my husband would not agree to it. She said she would take of it. I never got a written guarantee.
I tried on several occassions (which I have all documented) to cancel this service and get a refund. I spoke with Aaron several times and finally the last time I spoke with him which was in September of 2001 he had confirmed my conversation with Laura on 8/31/01 was as I had said (he claimed he pulled the audio tape) and I would receive my refund within 30 days. Guess what??? It never happened--of course. I called on 01/04/02 and spoke with DeShawn and he said that now Aaron no longer works there (of course). He took down my information and he said I should have a refund within 30 days. Guess what again??? No refund. I called on 2/01/02 and spoke with Chris and he informed me that DeShawn no longer works there (how convienent). He was not much help and said I should get a call back (right). I called back and spoke with Carlos and got the same results. So I will be filing with the better business bureau or whoever I have to to get results. Any suggestions, email me.
