Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I sent 13 packages from Israel to my address in United States.

All content was books, old brochures, family photo albums.

The reason for that shipment was my father death and I just wanted to preserve memories.

One package came damaged, saying very least. Photos was pulled off from family album (none of my relatives are movie stars - I could not imagine that a person in common sense could do such things), brochures was missing and ... this is the most interesting ... items were found in the package that don't belong to me. One of the items was bottle from German sauce. How should I treat this bottle of German sauce in a package from Israel ? And - you know what happens if i try to bring such bottle in airplane ?

I already could not count how many time I contacted USPS about these two cases. For damaged package, they did open cases, but constantly sent them back to Nothrbrook Post office and Northbrook Post office told me to call back to same number. Finally, they said that stealing items from a package is crime, but they could not find (and do not want) who did it.

For lost package they even did not want to open case which, in fact, against their own rules. I did open a case with Israel post, however, USPS does not respond to anybody.

I wrote to White House. My request was sent back to USPS. I got response to Ms. Nadine Munson that basically said that Universal Postal Union is responsible for all my problems and USPS is innocent. (By the way, packages came relatively quickly that make me think that they was taken directly by ocean ship to port of call in US).

Ms Munson advice to call to same number to open case about lost package, but they reject to open case even after I mentioned latter from Ns. Munson.

From all my "wars" with USPS during last month I realized that USPS is not an organization that you can complain about. You could dismiss our "constituent representatives", but they don't care about our votes (that was a surprise for me).

The reason why I spend my time writing this - while looking for "Nadine Munson", I found the report from user frostyac that says tha he'll try to sue UPS. I am very wondering - if he succeed to sue USPS ? Would really appreciate response.

Thanks.
