VDO Specialties Customer Service and Repair RIPOFFS deceptive company dirty ripoff dogs evil dirt bags cheated employees and screwed the customers even more evil dirt bags Chippewa Wisconsin
Well, what a ripoff company VDO Specialties is. I sent my son's PS2 game unit to them to repair.
This was back in mid January, by mid February I contacted them to check on the status and they came back saying they never received my unit.
Fortunately for me, I traced the postal shipping and showed that they did sign for receipt on 01/25. It took several emails back and forth to get them to come up with the unit and then tell me they were waiting for parts, this was in early March.
After 2 weeks of no further status, I contacted this Mike Walker, the owner of the company and he became very negative and unprofessional in replying to me. By 03/19, I requested that he just return the unit to me. Well, here it is 05/01 and no unit or reply from VDO Specialties or Mike Walker on the return status.
This company has some of the most negative customer service and can't seem to keep any kind of accountability or updates on their status for repairs. They have a repair status page that I have seen grow to over 400 listing, some going back as far as December/November 2001.
I've learned my lesson dealing with the company and would highly recommend someone looking for repair service on any electronic games or upgrades - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I'm still waiting for the return or other compensation from them.
